a lotta loaf for Surry Hills

I'm a firm believer of good food being a vital ingredient to a good life- eating well, travel,  knowledge and positivity are all up there. By extension of this belief, Surry Hills is one of my favorite areas to galavant around in pursuit of a good feed (or three, as occurred on Tuesday).

My friend and I kicked off the morning with a light breakfast at Kawa- if like me you're a bit of a self-confessed creeper and love people watching, then you can't go wrong with their outdoor seating right on Crowne St. Following this, my friend and I decided to head over to Bourke Street Bakery for round 2 of eating. This is where I got drawn into the novelty of a hot cross bun loaf, leaving me toting around a paper bag the size of my head for the rest of the day (it's all about accessorizing, right?)

Approaching early afternoon, we thought we'd reward our morning eating efforts with one more cafe visit, as you do. (To be fair we did throw in a fair amount of walking around the area before this- no our stomach's aren't literally bottomless.) We headed over to a favourite haunt of mine, Me & Art, for killer smoothies, great service and a large side of food coma.

Someone needs to give me a lesson in self restraint.
