impulse choices

(Sass and Bide jumper, Acne jeans, Zara shoes and hat, Michael Kors bag)This bag was an impulse purchase in New York- I loved the clean, structured appearance, and the size is perfect size for days where I don't feel like lugging my life around with me (this is where my MBMJ Calamity Rei is a god send).

One thing though, those who know me know that I'm not usually one to stray away from black accessories- but under some strange impulse that day (we'll blame the New York air) I was compelled to challenge myself by choosing the bag in a colour. Admittedly I've only used the bag a handful of times since but I'm slowly trying to incorporate it into my winter neutral palette. Lesson learnt: back to black for my next bag purchase- which for those wondering, will be this beauty. I'm watching like a hawk for it to be restocked.

On the note of restocking- I fell in love with this asymmetric S+B knit when it was first released in stores (here's a better look at it) but it was completely sold out in my size and wasn't looking to be replenished. One year later I decide to just punch the name into eBay and right there was the jumper, brand new and at half of the original $220 price tag! Needless to say I didn't hesitate in clicking "buy it now" and am definitely looking forward to living in it during these colder months.
