Layered Up

Shoutout to my Southern Hemisphere homies because it's getting cool down hear - and I for one am so ready. Just don’t ask me in a couple months when I’m five layers deep and trying to googling one way flights to the tropics.

I’m not ashamed to admit that I spend half of Summer in oversized tees and sneakers looking like a prepubescent Chinese boy. Come Winter, sure I’m still in oversized tees and sneakers but throw a few layers in the mix and a little leather and you can drop the prepubescent from the above title.

Thanks to the below*, a few internet dwellers including myself were invited to select and style a piece from the latest Staple the Label range. I’m loving this sleeveless knit which I’ve thrown on over an old New York pick-up. I’ll be honest, I was this close to finishing the look off with my good ol’ mayfly’s (biggest trust) but these patent leather additions to my wardrobe were too good to pass up. The coat doesn’t need an introduction- and at an eighth of the price of my last coat purchase, a completely justifiable (and necessary) addition to my wardrobe.
